The Walk

Walk, walk and walk till sun shines
Walk and walk again when moon shines
Walk, and walk even when only stars twinkle
Walk till you reach the pinnacle
Breath if you must at pinnacle
Set sail again to reach another pinnacle

Walk, walk and walk till the end
Walk and walk even when no one understand
Walk and walk with willing people along
And Walk alone if nobody comes along
Walk passionately in the journey
Without waiting for any dear or honey

Walk, walk and walk when path is rough
Walk, and walk even when everything seems tough
Only a determined wanderer can understand
Your walk for which you stand
Walk and keep walking because it’s your life
And you are the creator and destroyer of this life

my favourite quote of JRD Tata

RM Lala - "There was a certain largeness of heart on your part, you were not holding the past against him "
JRD says -"There was no largeness of heart on my part because it was obvious that he was misinformed and had got a totally wrong idea about me. Don't forget it's easy to have largeness of heart when you are indestructible yourself in this sense. When a man like him was fighting me, it was not a question that he could destroy me. He could be destroyed. He was the weak one , he knew all the time that he was vulnerable. So it's easy for me whenever I have a thing like that happen to me - what am I afraid of? All they could do, was get rid of me.Largeness of heart is required when you're vulnerable."

the fight

In the darkness of night
We have to continue this fight
The situation is tight
Hope is the only light
Voices are telling us to quit
But we have to persist
Its life's toughest test
Let us put our best
It's the journey worth the fight
In the end we will see the light
Whether we pass or fail
We will leave behind a trail

Dare to Dream

Dare to dream, even if it lets u scream

Follow your heart from the start

Let your intuition guide you

And Help sail you through

It takes courage to resist the temptation

Focus on goal will bring the passion

And your heart will earn the satisfaction

Satisfaction and joy comes hand in hand

So keep hold of you bastion

You will loose many battles

With every battle lost you will earn the strength

Strength to keep fighting and dreaming

So dare to dream to keep the life flowing

Concern should lead us into action and not into depression

I recently came across this quote and could not stop thinking how useful it is. Depression is twenty first century’s most common problem. Each one of us come across this problem frequently and if you are working in knowledge industry risk is higher. People rush to doctors or anti depressants but get only temporary relief. While pondering over above quote I realized it is the remedy of the said problem.

Before asking why, stop and reread the quote and think over it . On giving serious thought we realize we get depressed when we are tense and we get tense when we feel deeply about something, in other words when we are concerned about something. Its good to be concerned about things because it motivates us to action and when we act we resolve the problem. While on the other hand if we are concerned about things but we are lazy enough to act on it things, accumulate and leads to tension and then depression. Since laziness is such an incorrigible disease or habit we do not realize what the problem is and then we blame world for stealing our happiness when the problem is created by our own dear habit!

But now you would say “I am not lazy, I act the moment I have some concern still I get depressed. Why?” well to this we have other quote from “Gita” which complements the above quote, its, continue doing your duty without thinking about fruit. This clarifies why even when we act on time sometimes we get depressed. When we are acting on something the thought of result continues to plague us.

In short to remain on track and motivated the moment you have concern start acting for it without wishing for the expected result and result will follow the suit !!

Choice, not chance, determines the destiny

Choice a very common word probably one of the first words which we learn when we learn language. But my first understanding of the word choice came just two years back. I had started reading Harry potter series, in the last chapter of the first book when professor Dumbledore explains the reasons of events happening around he emphasizes the importance of choice between good and evil. This last chapter acted as tipping point and by the time I finished reading sixth book “Harry Potter and half Blood Prince” the idea of choice was engraved in my heart.

Choice is the miracle world. Within this easy six letter word, world’s mystery resides. We make choice at every step of life. Be it simple choice of eating what and when or the complex choice of marrying someone. We keep choosing one thing or the other. This everyday choice makes up the path of our life and on the death bed when we will look back at our life we will see the cloth of life is woven by the fabric of choice.

The idea of choice is very well explained by Richard Back in his book “One” , though I did not understood the book when I read for the first time and chose to quit in middle !

Many a times I have heard people talking about destiny. One set of people say God or almighty has predefined everything and human being has no say in it and other set of people say we human being make our life. But as Richard Back explains in his book “One”, we human being are given millions of alternate paths, we can say this millions of options are given by God and then its we human being who chooses one of the alternatives and determine our destiny. Hence essentially it’s we and our choices that make our life. So what is my next choice?

By the way I am anxiously waiting for last potter book to know where does his choice takes him now!
