Disney World – world that creates happiness.

As holidays approach we all start searching for a utopian place on earth where we can forget mundane life and enjoy the worldly pleasure with all our loved ones. The desire to create such make-believe world lead to the genesis of theme parks and Disney World is its vanguard.

In Disney World human achievements are celebrated through imagination, wonders of enterprise and concepts of a future .Recently I got the opportunity to live this world with my GLTian colleagues.

Disney has many parks and each park has different theme but its ubiquitous quality service, and the crowds thronging the park - grandmas and grandpas with grandkids in tow, harried young parents with toddlers in perambulators, school kids playing hooky, families on picnic, teen groups and tourists – glue them together.

Moving ahead with map in hand, deciding next adventure to visit while enjoying current adventure, we visited Adventureland, Frontierland, Main Street U.S.A., Mickey’s Toontown Fair, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland and enjoyed the classic rides and 3D movies

We even dared to ride Space Mountain, the enclosed roller coaster ride in the darkness which kept suddenly twisting and turning taking every breath away.

The day’s best came at the end in the form of SpectroMagic parade. Our favorite Disney characters illuminated the night in this dazzling parade on the theme song "On This Magic Night". Every conceivable form of illumination lighted up smiles for miles around

The trip entertained, informed, inspired and above all, instilled a new sense of belief and pride in man's ability to shape a world that offers hope to people everywhere. Disney is the celebration of life, dreams, hope, happiness, determination and it lives up to its service theme “We create happiness”.
