The clock keeps ticking hour and minute
The calendar keeps changing date and year
Everything keeps moving round and round
Time does not like this bound
A twenty-four hours cycle changes days
A three hundred sixty-five days cycle changes year
Everyone rejoice and celebrates the change
Time finds it strange
Not understanding time’s view
I asked him for his purview
He first laughed at my ignorance
Then answered showering his fragrance
Celebrate every day and moment
Without waiting for change of year statement
For time every second is special
So celebrate it with smile and compassion
